ooo is that reverb or are you using the delay method where you replay the sound but in a lower volume? really dig that hehe

really cute song you got here if i do say so myself! i do feel like some instruments are a bit too dry tho, so maybe a bit of reverb wouldn't hurt. (like the flute at ;30-;35) you could also add a bit more instrumentation at ;52-1;27 to make it more full, it does feel a bit empty with the main melody and the chords only playing there.

otherwise, i like this!! tell your friend some random stranger on ng says good luck on their game! ;)))))

jamethy responds:

Yep I did use a bit of delay

Thank you for your feedback, I agree with you and will try to implement that in my future work

Glad you enjoyed it!

bruh the laugh at the end

I have dishonored my family. It was supposed to be a sniffle indicating boyfriend was crying. X)

Trell13 responds:

lmao for an idiotic chord progression, this piano piece is pretty decent

MIssionary-music responds:

Thanks! If you wanna try it, I just updated it with music score: https://musescore.com/user/6201266/scores/6641717

why hello there!

MelonadeM responds:

yo!!! glad to see you here

This song would really go well with some b a s s (if there is well it's way too quietttt)

JustSomeBread responds:

Yea i forgot to put it lol

peaceful loop you have there. i don't know how would it loop in game since it's more of a short song than a functional loop but alright. you should probably put more emphasis on the low end (more specifically on the sub part, your bass is fine ig??) of your mix to make the song more full. i'd also suggest eq-ing that harmonica sound to decrease those high frequencies just a bit, as they're seem to be a bit too "grainy".

surprised you're not scouted yet after uploading audios throughout the years. (maybe it's just newgrounds being weird idk) hopefully you have new stuff to show off tho. scouted!!

Jabicho responds:

Hi man! Thanks so much for taking the time to review my song, means a lot!
Oh yes, I started trying making loops with this one so I still have a lot of things to work on, like you say, the ending and the mixing is something i'm going to be working on. Thanks again for the suggestions and for your words, I'm be happy to take them and work on improving my music :D

OMG i really do love one-hour challenges

that being said, i did not like how you made that sick intro, and decide to blueball me by extending it for so long i just can't >.<

the moment of silence before the beat switch was so jarring it ruined the vibe for me. as for what came after that (1;16-3;20) it was pretty normal tbh. giving me a "nights" vibe by frank ocean. the rims sound pretty weak and seem bitcrushed, maybe try using clearer ones next time you go for a similar vibe?

that being said, good job! and keep at them one hour challenges :DDDD

stratuskloud responds:

i guess if it's of any help, the challenges were to make something that sounds like it's from celeste, have at least a half note of complete silence, and have like 2 bpm changes.
thanks for the feedback.

also this is from like 7 months ago haha

solid! maybe make the piano more "piano-ish" at 1;00-1;22 and have it flow a bit more instead of using it just to play chords. also, the crash is a bit loud during the modulation at 2;10. just reduce the volume a little there and ur good to go, keep up the good work btw! :33

Thanks for the comment!
